  • Editing & Proofreading (where purchased)
  • Printing Services

2. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Author Responsibility

The author is solely responsible for:

  • The originality of the submitted manuscript.
  • Ensuring the work does not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, privacy, or other legal rights.
  • The accuracy of facts, references, quotations, and citations.
  • Obtaining any permissions required for third-party content, including text, images, tables, or illustrations.

Shabddhara Publishing is not responsible for legal disputes arising from the content submitted by the author.

4. Copyright Ownership

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • The author retains full copyright ownership of the original manuscript.
  • Purchasing publishing services does not transfer copyright ownership to Shabddhara Publishing.
  • Shabddhara may use the book cover, title, or limited promotional excerpts only for marketing its publishing services, unless the author requests otherwise in writing.

5. Publishing Process

Publishing begins only after:

  • Required files are received.
  • Payment (or agreed installment) is completed.
  • Necessary approvals are provided by the author.

The author is responsible for reviewing and approving proofs before final publication. Once approval is received, later changes may incur additional charges.

6. Editing and Proof Approval

Authors must carefully review all proofs before giving final approval.

Shabddhara Publishing is not responsible for errors that remain after the author’s final approval.

7. Payments

  • Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.
  • Full or partial advance payment may be required before work begins.
  • Work may be paused if scheduled payments are not received.
  • Applicable taxes (including GST, where required) will be charged separately if applicable.

8. Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled only before work has substantially begun.

Once services such as editing, formatting, cover design, ISBN processing, printing, or publishing have started, cancellation requests may not be accepted or may be subject to applicable charges.

9. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Fees paid for completed services are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

10. Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on:

  • Manuscript complexity
  • Author response time
  • Revision requests
  • Printing schedules
  • Courier operations
  • Technical issues beyond our reasonable control

We are not liable for delays caused by third-party service providers.

11. ISBN

Where ISBN assistance is provided:

  • ISBN allocation is subject to applicable regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Shabddhara cannot guarantee approval if the relevant authority rejects an application.

12. Printing Quality

Minor variations in colour, paper texture, trimming, or print finish may occur due to the printing process and shall not be considered defects.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shabddhara Publishing shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of business opportunities
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Data loss beyond our reasonable control
  • Delays caused by third parties or force majeure events

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, logos, graphics, designs, and branding (excluding author-submitted materials), is the property of Shabddhara Publishing and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.
